Pray for Your Husband Challenge

What would happen if you intentionally prayed for your husband every day for the next 14 days?

Prayer is one of the most powerful ways you can love your husband. You may want to pray for him more intentionally but struggle to find the words, the time, or a clear place to start. That’s why I created the 14-Day Pray for Your Husband Challenge. This challenge is designed to help you show up each day and lift your husband to the Lord.

Confession: I used to spend so much more time praying for my husband BEFORE we got married. I wanted to create this challenge to help encourage myself (and you!) to spend time lifting up our husbands in prayer.

The challenge has fourteen days of prayer topics and coordinating Bible verses. I plan to use mine February 1-14 (how sweet would it be to gift your hubby a full prayer journal for him?!). Of course you can use this challenge any time of the year. There’s a totally FREE printable with titles, a washi strip, and a chart with the topics.

I also created TONS of other fun printables that match to help you get started. There’s also a coordinating prayer journal with 30 prompts and coordinating Scripture on Amazon. Keep reading to check out these resources. I also have a video on my YouTube channel walking through all this. Click below to watch.

3 Prayer tips

  1. Accountability is key! Invite your Bible study group, friends, siblings, family, etc. to join the pray for your husband challenge with you! Send them this blog post or download the phone wallpaper below and text it to them.

  2. Grab a journal to write your prayers in each day. You’ll be able to look back and see what God did and gift the journal to your husband if you want!

  3. Pray through the prompt at the same time each day for consistency & to build the prayer habit.

Bible verses about prayer to encourage you

  • “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14)

  • “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” (1 John 5:14-15)

  • “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7-8)
